Vieira de Castro is a Portuguese company with headquarters in Vila Nova de Famalicão, in the North of the country. It was founded in 1943 as a small maker of traditional and regional confectionery. It is currently the premier independent producer of sugared and chocolate almonds.
We see matters of quality, safety and hygiene as vital for the development of our company. Our quality policy has awarded us ISO 9001:2000 and HACCP certification.
The cooperation and team spirit of our collaborators are the secret behind the company’s continuous evolution, of which the entry into the international scene is but one example. We currently export our products to more than 45 countries, including Spain, Germany, the United Kingdom, Angola, South Africa, Cape Verde, the United States, Canada, Japan and Macao. We are the premier national exporter in the biscuit market.
